Bayonetta: Bloody Fate

Alternate Name: ベヨネッタ ブラッディフェイト (Beyonetta: Buraddi Feito) Director: Fuminori Kizaki Year: 2013 Trailer: Awoken from her 500 year slumber from the bottom of the lake bed with no recollection of her past. Embarking on a journey to rediscover her past and battles against hordes of angels along the way. At Bayonetta's side is a mysterious girl named, Cereza who calls her "Mummy", Luka, a journalist that holds a personal grudge and a woman who knows about Bayonetta's history. Will Bayonetta be able to recollect her memory? Who is this little girl called Cereza? Since this is a retelling of the first game, I do hope they do the same for the second. Wheather you played the game or just watched the movie. It's a pertty good series that I hope it continues. Rating: ☆☆☆☆             See it

Blood-C: The Last Dark

Alternate Name: 劇場版 ブラッドシー ザ ラスト ダーク (Gekijo-ban buraddoshi za rasuto daku) Director: Naoyoshi Shiotani Year: 2012 Trailer: The Youth Ordinance Bill curfews the minors from being out too late and regulating their internet usage, but a group of young teens still fight for their rights through an underground group known as Surat. The underground fighters decided to take down Fumito Nanahara, the man who controls Tokyo with his iron fist and the underground fighters use the internet to discover informative information about Fumito. Will the underground group be able to take down Fumito? This film to me felt that it had more depth than "Blood: The Last Vampire", because there is more action and more character development. It dose have a few slow moments, but some of it is regained by some of the action sequences. Rating: ☆☆☆☆             See it

Blood: The Last Vampire

Alternate Name: ブラッド ザ ラスト ヴァンパイア (Buraado zarasuto buanpia) Director: Hiroyuki Kitakubo Year: 2000 Trailer: Saya, a girl who hunts chiropterans (bat-like beasts) that live on by drinking human blood. Fortunately for everyone on the world are groups to destroy the chiropterans. In the mid 1960's, Saya is transfered to a U.S. army base at Yokota Air Base to complete her next mission. One of the chiropterans managed to infiltrate the base and it only a matter of time before it feeds on someone. Will Saya be able to find the infiltrated chiropteran or will it escape and produce more? I felt that when the characters spoke both in Japanese and then English. It's a cool concept, but to me it felt out of place. Rating: ☆☆☆             Rent it

Blade of the Phantom Master

Alternate Name: 新暗行御史 (Shin Angyo Onshi),  (신암행어사 Shin Amhaengosa) Director: Joji Shimura, Ahn Tae-kun Year: 2004 Trailer: The king of Jushin's secret agents were known as Amen Osa (depending on Korean or Japanese Amheng osa/Angyo onshi). Until one day Jushin destroyed and only one Amen Osa is still alive. Moonse, the only survivor meets a wondering traveler named Monlyon in the heat of the desert. Monlyon tells Moonse about the story about his fiance and that he's trying to rescue her, Moonse helps him on his quest. Will Moonse be able to rescue Monlyon's fiance? In a way this film felt like a PlayStation 2 title or even a digital game from either Steam or PSN than a movie. This film has a few entertaining moments, but also raises a lot of questions. Rating: ☆☆☆             Rent it

Asura

Alternate Name: アシュラ (Ashura) Diector: Keiichi Sato Year: 2012 Trailer: During the mid 15th-century Japan, where drought and famine turning the town into a wasteland. Abandoned as an infant, forcefully Asura must learn how to survive the wild. By killing human as food, Asura was saved by a young girl named Wakasa. Wakasa teaches Asura how to speak and learn how to love. Will Wakasa be able to tame Asura or will Asura unable to control the beast inside him? This film has a beautiful animation and didn't feel cheep or ruined the story. Anyone want to take a guess who voices Asura? I'll take a well know character as an answer. Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆             Must See!
