All of Soar Yuki's friends at high school play an online RPG game called “The World”. However Sora
uncertin due to her grandfather obviate her to technology. Once she discovered that her grandfather was secretly playing the game, Sora releaved that there was no restrictions; she enters the game. Witnessing a battle between a mysterious girl and a smoke-like matter. During the battle the girl approaches Sora and gives her a small cube which enters into Sora's virtual avatar. After awhile news of players appear to lose consciousness while playing “The World”.

Who is this mysterious girl, is she an ally or an enemy? Where did the smoke-like matter come from and is it the problem that causes players to become consciousness?

Waking up from the cryogenic sleep the captain of the Saldes learns that there are two impostor on board. The trouble doesn't start there one of the passengers Morgan is found dead from a mysterious infection. What is this mysterious infection that's on the cruiser? Will there be any more casualties? Sharing similarities with "Aliens" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" this was an interesting film. Some character are like able. While I wished the film discussed a bit more of each characters a little more. Rating: ☆☆☆ Rent it
