Tamako Kitashirakawa and Mochizo Oji are neighborhood friends, their parents run a mochi shop. A fight between Mamedai and Gohei (Tamako and Mochizo's fathers respectively.) over each others mochi. Mochizo tries to end the fight and encouraged by Tamako.

Later in the gym at the high school, Tamako and her best friend Midori Tokiwa both practice their baton twirling. Another member of the baton club is Kanna Makino. Seeing a flyer of Usagiyama Marching Festival, Kanna convinces the rest of the baton club to perform at the festival to make memories.

In the club room, Mochizo observe the film that the club made about a panda bear in the forest grabbing an apple. However, diverted to clips of Tamako. Inuyama points out a booklet for a Tokyo university that Mochizo plans to apply for. Both Inuyama and Momotaro puzzled about his decision, saying that he'll be separated from Tamako. Leaving Mochizo to confess to Tamako.

Will Mochizo confess to Tamako about his Filming studies at Tokyo?

I liked how the animation was fluid and the story didn't slowdown as much. Found all character relatable.

Passengers boarding the cruiser: Hiro Takagi, Nancy and her cat, Dorthy Van Fallah, Dick Berry, Morgan Scott, Dr. Mead and Jimmy are in hyper-sleep for twenty years. Waking up from the cryogenic sleep the captain of the Saldes learns that there are two impostor on board. The trouble doesn't start there one of the passengers Morgan is found dead from a mysterious infection. What is this mysterious infection that's on the cruiser? Will there be any more casualties? Sharing similarities with "Aliens" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" this was an interesting film. Some character are like able. While I wished the film discussed a bit more of each characters a little more. Rating: ☆☆☆ Rent it
