A phenomenon at the Kanagawa Prefecture, near Tokyo, citizens obtain abilities to deconstruction, transformation and being able to crystallize matter at a molecular level. People with these powers are known as "Alter". Two groups of opposing alters are the Native Alters, which are a group that avoids any relationship with the government. And the HOLY, an Alter organization subgroup that are called HOLD.
The HOLD organization functions as the mainland government police force, while HOLY, consist of Alter special operations group. Assisting HOLD in dangerous missions that require help from the Alter user. Two s-CRY-ed Alters, Kazuma and Ryuhou have a rivalry with each other, but are forced to work together.
Will Kazuma and Ryuhou settle their rivalry or will they continue to battle each other until the end?
In a way it reminds me of Naruto or Yu-Gi-Oh, were two characters have a rivalry but have to work together even if they don't like it. Scryed Alteration I: Tao for me rushes or stretches out the scene of the story causing major confusion and possible boredom.
