At the library the gang discusses about the Japanese folklores. Shinobu informs Lum that a “red string” connects two lovers together. While Lum is enthused about that, Ataru however isn't. Walking home Lum argues with Ataru about dating her, but he constantly refuses. Both knowtice a zeppelin  dropping something. Lum flies to see what the zeppelin is dropping. An advertisment to the Grand Opening of the Tomobiki Morchenland (an amusemnt park). As their date Lum decides to take Ataru.

Exploring all the attractions of the amusement park, they're all invited to the magic show. Ataru volunteers to be in the show. Entering the box the magician covers it up and shoots at it. Being mor than five minutes the gang along with the crowd gets concered over Ataru. Lum and the gang head up stage to find out that Ataru turned into a pink hippo.


Will Ataru return back to being a human or stay as a hippo?

Passengers boarding the cruiser: Hiro Takagi, Nancy and her cat, Dorthy Van Fallah, Dick Berry, Morgan Scott, Dr. Mead and Jimmy are in hyper-sleep for twenty years. Waking up from the cryogenic sleep the captain of the Saldes learns that there are two impostor on board. The trouble doesn't start there one of the passengers Morgan is found dead from a mysterious infection. What is this mysterious infection that's on the cruiser? Will there be any more casualties? Sharing similarities with "Aliens" and "2001: A Space Odyssey" this was an interesting film. Some character are like able. While I wished the film discussed a bit more of each characters a little more. Rating: ☆☆☆             Rent it
